Whispering Hills Achievement Center
is an approved non-public school by
the Texas Education Agency.
Our facility is also licensed by The
Department of Family and Protective
Services as a Residential Treatment
Center.
Who
we serve:
Our
facility serves boys and girls (5 to 17
years old at admission), both
residentially and through a day
school program. We specialize
in the care of Autistic and PDD
youth, as well as those with
emotional disturbances.
Our admission criteria
includes:

Diagnosed Psychiatric Disorder
(including those which are
Emotionally Disturbed and those
assessed as PDD/Autism))
- Average to Below Average
Intelligence (including IQs in
the MR range)
- Severely Delayed Academic
Functioning (3 or more years
below grade level)
- Communication Concerns (verbal
to non-verbal)
- Maladaptive Behaviors (including
danger to self and/or others)
